U.S. Intercepts 22 Ships Bound for Iran in Middle East Naval Operation

The United States has intensified its naval operations in the Middle East, deploying more than 20 warships to enforce maritime security and strictly uphold its blockade against Iran. These actions have led to the interception of numerous commercial vessels attempting to reach Iranian ports.

According to the U.S. Central Command (Centcom), these naval deployments are actively supporting military missions and ensuring compliance with U.S. sanctions. As of July 28, Centcom reported that 18 commercial vessels had been redirected, two had been disabled, and two others were boarded to guarantee adherence to the blockade.
