UAE expresses solidarity with Nepal over deadly floods

The United Arab Emirates has voiced its solidarity with Nepal as the nation grapples with the aftermath of severe floods and landslides.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a statement conveying the UAE's sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims. The statement also extended sympathies to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and its people, wishing a swift recovery for all those injured in the tragic events.

The United Arab Emirates has expressed its solidarity with the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal over the victims of floods and landslides, which resulted in dozens of deaths, injuries, and missing people, as well as significant damage.

These devastating flash floods struck a border area between Nepal and China on Wednesday. The disaster claimed at least 98 lives, with hundreds of tourists, workers, and others reported missing. The floods swept through communities, causing significant damage and halting travel in some regions. Nepal's prime minister's office reported at least 95 fatalities, while China's state broadcaster CCTV confirmed three deaths and 265 missing in Tibet's Gyirong County near the border. Drone footage revealed extensive road destruction.
