UBSI Student Anita Tri Ariani Putri Wins 3rd Place in Senior Kyourugi at Pancasila Cup

Anita Tri Ariani Putri, a student at Universitas BSI Kampus Pemuda, has achieved third place in the Senior Kyourugi category at the prestigious Pancasila Cup.

Returning to the Taekwondo mat after a hiatus, Anita found the biggest challenge was not her opponents, but time. Balancing a demanding university schedule and work commitments made ideal training difficult. "I feel the preparation was not yet sufficient," Anita admitted on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The limited preparation tested her physically and mentally against tough competitors.

In the intense matches, points were closely contested. However, the long break began to take its toll in crucial moments. "At the end of the round, I felt quite out of breath. Although I felt I could still push to catch up, my body was depleted," Anita recalled. Despite her fatigue, her fighting spirit secured her a bronze medal and a certificate.

This medal serves as new fuel for Anita's next goal: first place in an upcoming tournament. She credits her success to the supportive atmosphere from her coach and the head of the UBSI Taekwondo UKM. "Their support was very important and valuable to me. In this competition, I learned a lot and it continues to energize me to do better for myself and for UBSI," she said.
