UBSI Trains KWT Fortuna's in Bookkeeping Via Digital Information System to Strengthen Business Management

Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) has conducted a training program for the KWT Fortuna's group in Bogor Regency, focusing on bookkeeping and the use of digital information systems. This initiative, held in Desa Susukan, aims to bolster the group's business administration and financial management capabilities.

The training is a component of a broader community service program, "Empowerment of KWT Fortuna's through Smart Greenhouse and Digitalization of Horticulture Management for Urban Food Security Strengthening." Funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the program underscores UBSI's commitment to integrating technology into community outreach.

Through this activity, we want to help KWT Fortuna's manage their horticulture business more professionally. Not only from the production side through the use of greenhouses, but also from the business management side through bookkeeping and digital information systems.

Participants received instruction on managing income and expenses, tracking inventory, recording sales, and preparing simple financial reports. They were also guided in utilizing a web-based system designed for integrated management of production, finances, stock, product catalogs, and transaction history.

Titik Misriati, the program's lead, emphasized that proper bookkeeping is crucial for professional business management, enabling informed decision-making. Eka Dyah Setyaningsih, a team member, highlighted the importance of separating personal and group finances for accurate business monitoring. Riska Aryanti provided hands-on training for the digital system, accessible via smartphones and laptops.
