UIN Jakarta Assures Triguna Teachers of Stable Status Amid School Management Integration

Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has clarified that the integration of SMA and SMK Triguna Utama into its Badan Layanan Umum (BLU) system will not affect the professional status or roles of its teachers and staff. The university emphasized that the change is purely an administrative measure to strengthen the school's management, oversight, and governance, making it more professional, transparent, and accountable.

The announcement came during a confirmation and briefing session for teachers and employees of SMA and SMK Triguna Utama, marking a step in the school's integration under UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's management structure. Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar stated that this initiative aligns with the state's mandate to UIN and is designed to refine the management system. He assured that while the organizational management system is being improved, the rights and roles of educators will remain respected.

SMA and SMK Triguna Utama have a long history, but their management had not been directly under UIN's authority, leading to suboptimal operational systems. The integration aims to rectify this by placing the school's oversight under UIN, a function previously managed by a foundation. Teachers and staff have been reassured that their duties and roles as educators will continue as before, with changes limited to the management, oversight, and operational mechanisms of the school.
