UIN Jakarta's Sharia Banking Doctoral Program Added to LPDP Scholarship List

The Doctoral Program in Sharia Banking at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has officially been included in the list of destination programs for the LPDP Scholarship Batch 2 of 2026. This prestigious designation opens broader avenues for academics, researchers, civil servants, regulators, and professionals in the sharia financial industry to pursue doctoral education with government financial support.

Prof. Nur Hidayah, Chair of the Doctoral Program, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating it acknowledges the continuous improvement in academic quality. "This is a trust and a great opportunity to produce more academics, researchers, regulators, and leaders in the sharia financial industry who can make real contributions to national and global economic development," she said. The program recently achieved "Excellent" accreditation from LAMEMBA, further solidifying its position as a leading doctoral education provider in sharia economics, finance, and banking in Indonesia.
