Ukraine hits 7 Russian 'shadow fleet' ships, air defense, energy sites

Ukraine's drone forces launched a significant overnight operation, striking seven Russian 'shadow fleet' vessels in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. The attacks also targeted six air defense systems within Russia and seven energy facilities in occupied territories, including Crimea, according to Robert 'Magyar' Brovdis, commander of the drone forces, who announced the operations on Facebook.

Among the targeted Russian vessels were three tankers and four bulk carriers. These strikes are part of Operation 'MoLoCHKa,' under which Ukrainian drone forces have attacked a total of 119 'shadow fleet' ships in the Sea of Azov and 64 in the Black Sea since July 1.

The air defense systems hit in Russia's Yeysk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kamyševackaja regions included Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile systems, Nebo-U, Kasta-2E2, and Gamma-M radar stations, along with two Nebo-SV radar stations. All six targets were reportedly destroyed. Since the beginning of July, Ukrainian drone forces have attacked 25 Russian air defense assets, comprising 12 surface-to-air missile systems, 12 radar stations, and one electronic warfare system.

In terms of energy infrastructure, the strikes hit seven electricity distribution centers and substations in Yalta, Morskoye, Pryvitne, and other settlements. Under Operation 'Crimean Switch Off,' Ukrainian forces have attacked a total of 103 electricity distribution centers since July 1.
