Ukraine’s prosecutor general says seven prosecutors could be dismissed after Carthage corruption probe

Seven prosecutors from different departments of Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office could be dismissed following the Carthage corruption investigation.

Ukraine’s prosecutor general said the officials would be referred to the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors. The commission will decide whether they should lose their positions.

The referrals follow a corruption scandal investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
