Ukraine Talks Resume as White House Delays Details of Next Steps

The White House says negotiations on Ukraine have resumed with a substantive meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law.

A White House representative, cited by Reuters, said the sides discussed concrete plans for the next steps. Those plans will be announced in the coming weeks, the representative said, while adding that the participants looked forward to equally productive meetings in Ukraine the next day.
