Ukrainian Border Guards Shoot Down Russian Drone at Record Altitude

Ukrainian border guards in the Chernihiv region have achieved a new record by shooting down a Russian ZALA Z-20 reconnaissance drone at an impressive altitude of 6,858 meters. This achievement marks the highest confirmed altitude for a downed enemy drone in the region.

The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service reported the success, highlighting that the enemy intentionally deploys these ZALA Z-20 drones at high altitudes, anticipating they will be beyond the reach of Ukrainian forces. However, operators from the "Sting" drone unit of the 105th Border Detachment successfully intercepted the target.
