Ukrainian drones strike Russian e-commerce warehouse

Ukrainian forces launched drone attacks overnight, striking a logistics center belonging to the Russian e-commerce giant Ozon in Rostov-on-Don. The company confirmed that a drone caused a "small fire" at the facility, which was promptly extinguished. Operations at the center were temporarily halted to allow emergency services to inspect the area for safety.

This incident was not isolated to the Ozon warehouse. In the same Rostov region, a warehouse belonging to the Russian electronics and appliance chain Dns in the city of Aksay also caught fire, prompting the evacuation of employees. The governor of Rostov, Yuri Slyusar, confirmed the discovery of drone debris in the Aksay district, though he did not specify which warehouse was hit.

Further reports indicated that a warehouse belonging to the Russian supermarket chain Chizhik in the nearby village of Leninskoye was also targeted. Governor Slyusar described the attacks as "massive," stating that Rostov-on-Don and the districts of Aksay, Bagayev, and Neklinovsky were under attack. He reported seven injuries, including two adults and two children who were hospitalized in Rostov-on-Don.

In addition to commercial targets, drone debris reportedly damaged two apartment buildings in the Proletarsky district of Rostov-on-Don, leading to resident evacuations. In the Bagayev district, several homes sustained broken windows. Meanwhile, in Kyiv, Russia launched a new drone attack, causing explosions across the city and prompting air raid alerts and calls for residents to seek shelter.
