UN: Concern over escalating violence in West Bank

A top United Nations official has voiced grave concern over the rapidly deteriorating situation in the West Bank. Ramiz Alakbarov, the UN's deputy special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, informed the Security Council that escalating violence over the past week has resulted in civilian deaths, displacement, and material damage.
