UNAM denies false claim of full exam replacement amid AI concerns

The university stressed that all official information regarding the 2026 selection process will be published exclusively through its official channels.

The purported communiqué, identified as apocryphal, suggested that a technical commission had determined a full, in-person replacement of the admission exam to protect its legitimacy. UNAM's rector, Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas, has established a working group of specialists to analyze the exam procedure and results.
