UNAM designates Palacio de los Deportes for control exam in Mexico City

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has designated the iconic Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City as a primary venue for its upcoming control examination. The university's General Directorate of School Administration (DGAE) has launched a system, accessible through "Tu Sitio" on the undergraduate admissions microsite, allowing applicants to secure their exam appointments.

Students can now view their specific exam location, date, time, and a map to the venue, along with a list of necessary documentation. This control test is a recommendation from a technical committee of specialists convened by rector Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas. For any queries, applicants are directed to email concursos_de_seleccion_2026@dgae.unam.mx.

UNAM anticipates administering the control test to a total of 58,783 individuals. These applicants will be distributed across four main sites: Baja California, Mexico City (at the Palacio de los Deportes), Guanajuato, and Oaxaca. The Palacio de los Deportes alone is scheduled to host 53,568 aspirants over August 17, 18, and 19. Other venues include the Hotel Real de Minas Poliforum, Hotel San Felipe, and the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas (Tijuana ENID).
