UNAM releases results for in-person entrance exam

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) released the results of its in-person control exam on Friday, August 28. This exam was conducted after the institution identified irregularities during the online examination for the 2026-2027/1 academic cycle.

Aspiring students can now check their results on the Directorate General of School Administration (DGAE) website. Those who have been selected will find a link to download their university assignment and oath-taking letter, student ID confirmation, IMSS enrollment details, and other necessary documents. Applicants can access this information through "Tu Sitio" using their folio number.

For the current academic cycle, UNAM plans to admit 49,074 new students. Of this total, 28,151 students will be admitted through the Pase Reglamentado (regulated admission process), while 20,923 will enter via the selection contest. The university encourages admitted students to visit their respective faculty or school websites for further registration procedures and welcome activities.

Approximately 36,000 out of nearly 58,800 candidates who were called for the in-person control exam in Baja California, Mexico City, Guanajuato, and Oaxaca attended the test. UNAM has provided a direct link for candidates to check their results for the examination, which was held for the 2026 admission cycle.
