Unemployed Italian cycles through Europe and Russia to reach Singapore

An Italian street artist and self-proclaimed "world traveler" named Paolo Puccini is currently on an ambitious journey, cycling from Europe through Russia with the ultimate destination of Singapore. Puccini's unique mode of transport is a four-wheeled bicycle fitted with solar panels, which also serves as a platform for his artistic endeavors.

Puccini embarked on this extensive trip approximately two years ago. He cites losing his job as the catalyst for his travels, coupled with a growing dissatisfaction with the perceived decline of life in Italy. His journey is not just about transit; he uses his bicycle's sound system to play music, notably "O bella ciao," and engages with passersby using a microphone.

On a recent Tuesday afternoon, his presence was noted on the streets of Tartu's old town, where the sounds of his music filled the air. Puccini, described as being in his retirement years, continues to blend his artistic expression with his nomadic lifestyle as he makes his way across continents.
