Unión de Pilar claims first Nacional B victory

Deportivo Unión de Pilar has achieved its first win in the Nacional B of the Unión del Fútbol del Interior, marking a significant moment in their league campaign. The team triumphed over 1º de Setiembre of Benjamín Aceval with a narrow 1-0 victory in a match played in the capital of Ñeembucú.

This result came during the second round of the championship, a tournament featuring 14 clubs. The ultimate goal for the participating teams is to win promotion to the División Intermedia, the second tier of Paraguayan football, in 2027. The win gives Unión de Pilar a crucial three points, positioning them third in Group A.
