UNIOSUN shuts Ifetedo campus over student’s death

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has indefinitely closed its Ofatedo College of Law campus following the death of a 400-level student. Miss Grace Osunlakin, a student of Criminology and Security Studies, reportedly died on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The university's management stated that the circumstances surrounding her death prompted the campus closure.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, expressed deep sorrow over the incident and offered condolences to the deceased student's family.
