Uniqlo donates 600 million won for summer disaster relief

Uniqlo has donated 600 million won (approximately $430,000) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to aid in disaster preparedness and support vulnerable communities during the summer.

The funds are earmarked for immediate relief efforts, including emergency living assistance, provision of relief goods, and temporary housing for those affected by natural disasters like heavy rains and heatwaves. Additionally, the donation will help vulnerable populations secure disaster insurance, contributing to both prevention and recovery.

Hope Bridge plans to allocate the funds efficiently based on disaster scale and on-site needs, while also supporting the long-term recovery of affected residents. This contribution marks the ninth year of Uniqlo's collaboration with Hope Bridge on disaster relief, bringing the company's total cumulative donations to around 2.76 billion won.
