Universidad de Chile has secured the services of forward Maximiliano Guerrero for an extended period, announcing his contract renewal through the end of 2028. The 26-year-old attacker has become an indispensable part of the team's offensive strategy since his return at the beginning of the 2024 season.

Guerrero's impact has been significant, as he currently leads the team with 10 goals in the current campaign.
