University of Dhaka Postpones Internal Exams Due to Bad Weather

The University of Dhaka (DU) has postponed all internal examinations originally set for Monday, July 13, citing adverse weather conditions. The decision, announced in an official notice on Sunday, aims to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff amidst challenging weather.

According to the notice, new schedules for the postponed exams will be communicated at a later date. These revised timetables will be based on proposals submitted by the individual departments and institutes within the university. This measure allows for flexibility in rescheduling while maintaining academic continuity.

However, the postponement applies only to internal university examinations. The notice clarified that examinations currently underway at DU-affiliated and constituent colleges and institutes will continue as originally scheduled. This distinction ensures that external academic activities are not disrupted by the internal rescheduling.
