UNM Student Wins Third Place in Jakarta Monologue Competition

Syifa Magfiroh, a student from Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), has earned recognition by securing the Juara Harapan 1 (Third Place) in the Monologue competition at the Pekan Seni Mahasiswa Daerah (PEKSIMIDA) DKI Jakarta 2026. Representing the university's Management study program, Magfiroh showcased her artistic prowess at the event held at Universitas Tarumanegara.

Her winning performance featured a monologue titled 'Balada Sumarah,' a piece by Tentrem Lestari. The performance delved into profound themes of humanity, the struggles faced, and the steadfastness of a woman confronting various forms of injustice. Magfiroh's strong character portrayal, deep emotional expression, and mature acting skills captivated the judging panel.

The achievement was the result of intensive preparation, including consistent coaching and a high level of commitment from Magfiroh. This success demonstrates UNM's dedication to nurturing students' soft skills and creativity, providing ample opportunities within its environment as a Digital Business Campus.
