US Lawmakers Push to Move OSCE Assembly from Serbia to South Carolina

A bipartisan group of 41 U.S. lawmakers is actively lobbying to move the 2027 OSCE Parliamentary Assembly from Serbia to Charleston, South Carolina. The group, led by Republican Representative Joe Wilson, has introduced a resolution advocating for the shift.

Citing concerns over Belgrade's foreign policy and its relationship with Washington, the lawmakers aim to reaffirm American commitment to European partners. Representative Wilson specifically criticized Serbia's official position on issues like Kosovo.
