US-Venezuela oil deal, Polish Olympic chief arrested, Russian attack near Kyiv

Piesiewicz denies all charges, claiming he is the victim and has lost significant funds.

Meanwhile, Russia continued its aerial assault on Ukraine, launching another strike on the Kyiv region. The attack targeted an industrial enterprise in the village of Mila, west of Kyiv, resulting in at least six injuries and reports of fatalities. Fires and explosions erupted at the site, prompting emergency services to consider evacuating nearby residential areas. Traffic on the M-06 highway was also suspended due to the incident.
