UTE opens applications for administrative roles with salaries over $56,000

The Administración Nacional de Usinas y Transmisiones Eléctricas (UTE), Uruguay's national administration of power plants and electrical transmissions, has announced a call for applications to fill 32 administrative positions. These roles are based in Montevideo and other departments across the country, with a list of eligible candidates to be compiled.

The advertised positions offer a base salary of $56,325.21 Uruguayan pesos. The work schedule involves 8-hour daily shifts, including a 45-minute break. The company has detailed the distribution of these vacancies across various locations: 24 positions in Montevideo, two each in Maldonado and San José, and one each in Mercedes, Palmar, Rocha, and Treinta y Tres.

Selected candidates will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks. These include managing and tracking files and administrative documentation, ensuring proper registration and archiving. They will also process administrative, accounting, and commercial information, generating requested reports, and handling internal and external inquiries to provide administrative support and advice. Additionally, they will register and control personnel incidents, maintaining updated information for administrative processes.

To be eligible, applicants must be natural or legal citizens of Uruguay, with legal citizens needing at least three years of residency. Candidates must be at least 18 years old by the application deadline and have completed secondary education without pending subjects, or hold a relevant technical degree.
