The V-League 2025-2026 season is set to reach its climax with the final matchday, Round 26, scheduled for June 7.

Although the championship title has already been secured, the competition for the top three positions and the crucial relegation battle are expected to go down to the wire. The league's final day promises significant drama for fans.

In the fight for third place, CLB Ninh Binh currently holds an advantage over CLB Hanoi, leading by three points. However, if CLB Hanoi, featuring players like Hoang Duc, falters in their match against Hong Linh Ha Tinh, they could potentially lose their third-place standing to their rivals.

The most intense drama is anticipated in the relegation struggle. SHB Da Nang, PVF-CAND, and Becamex TP.HCM are all level on 21 points, occupying the 12th, 13th, and 14th positions respectively. All three teams will face opponents who appear to have little to play for in the final round: Dong A Thanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, and Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Becamex TP.HCM faces the most challenging scenario. They must secure a full three points and hope that at least one of the teams above them falters. If all three relegation-threatened teams win their final matches, Becamex TP.HCM will be relegated from the top flight next season.
