Valentina Höll has cemented her dominance in downhill mountain biking, clinching her fifth consecutive World Championship title at Val di Sole, Italy. The 24-year-old Austrian rider showcased her prowess by finishing 1.728 seconds ahead of Switzerland's Lisa Baumann, while Great Britain's Harriet Harnden secured the bronze medal.

This victory adds another significant achievement to Höll's already impressive career. She drew level with British rider Rachel Atherton in terms of World Championship titles, though the record remains with France's Anne-Caroline Chausson, who holds nine titles.
