Veda Ega Pratama Loses Ground in Moto3 Standings After Dutch GP Crash

Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama has slipped to seventh place in the provisional Moto3 standings after a disappointing outing at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. Pratama was unable to finish the race, failing to score any points and allowing a Malaysian rider to overtake him in the overall standings.

Starting from seventh on the grid, Pratama initially showed strong potential. He moved up to ninth on the first lap but quickly improved his pace, reaching fifth by the third lap. His performance continued to impress as he broke into the top three, even taking second place after overtaking Maximo Quiles on lap four.

However, Pratama's race took a turn for the worse in the latter stages. He found himself in a tight battle with David Almansa for the lead, but by lap seven, he had fallen back after being overtaken by Quiles and Hakim Danish. His challenging lap saw him drop to eighth position.

The Indonesian rider's race ultimately came to an end on lap eight when his motorcycle slid, forcing him to retire from the competition. This DNF (Did Not Finish) means he will not gain any points for the Dutch GP.
