Vehicle Crashes into Suncheon Chicken Restaurant, Injuring Three

A shocking incident occurred in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, where a vehicle plowed into a chicken restaurant that was open for business, resulting in injuries to three people. The driver, a man in his 30s, has been taken into custody and is currently under investigation by the Suncheon Police for alleged violations of traffic laws.

The accident took place late Tuesday night when the driver, operating a passenger car, veered off the road and crashed through the exterior wall and glass windows of the restaurant located in the Sinnae district. Two customers inside the establishment sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver also suffered injuries and received medical attention.

Authorities have collected a blood sample from the driver for analysis by the National Forensic Service to determine the presence and concentration of alcohol. The police plan to assess whether to add charges related to drunk driving based on the forensic results.
