Venezuela's Keiber Lamadrid makes Championship debut with West Ham

Keiber Lamadrid made his first appearance in England's Championship as West Ham United beat Wolves 4-2 on Sept. 1.

The Venezuelan winger entered in the 69th minute for Divine Mukasa and played 26 minutes. He recorded nine touches, completed four passes and made three recoveries.

The result gave West Ham its first league win after four matches. The club had drawn twice and lost once, and moved into 11th place, level on points with Blackburn Rovers and Watford. West Ham have also won both of their League Cup matches.

Lamadrid joined West Ham in January 2026 and has appeared in three of the club's four competitions. He has not played in the Premier League, but completed 72 minutes in an FA Cup match against Burton Albion, which West Ham won 1-0. He also played in three Premier League 2 matches during his first six months at the club.

West Ham announced his permanent signing on June 20 after the club was relegated from the Premier League. Lamadrid remained with the team and played four preseason matches against Southend United, Stevenage, Rangers and Magdeburg. He has not yet completed 90 minutes for the London club at the start of the new campaign.
