Venezuela to Launch Premios ComuniCorpo Awards to Recognize Corporate Communication Excellence

Venezuela is set to celebrate its corporate communication professionals with the inaugural Premios ComuniCorpo awards in 2026. This new initiative aims to honor excellence within the field, spotlighting the achievements and expertise of individuals and organizations. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding work in corporate communication and public relations, fostering a greater appreciation for the discipline within the country.

The Red ComuniCorpo, a platform that has been active for 13 years, serves as a hub for companies, brands, public and private institutions, academia, media, and professionals in Venezuela. It facilitates access to the latest innovations, updated knowledge, and leading discussions in corporate communication through various events and training opportunities. The network's founder, Thamara Laurens, emphasizes the organization's commitment to promoting institutions, brands, and professionals dedicated to internal communication, corporate affairs, and media relations.

Laurens highlighted the rich history of corporate communication in Venezuela, tracing its roots back to the 1950s with pioneers in the oil industry. She stated, "Corporate communication in our country has a legitimate history that dates back to the 50s with pioneers in the oil industry. Today, that history continues to be written by thousands of professionals who, with strategic vision, transform the reputation, image, and purpose of organizations. The Premios ComuniCorpo will present 16 awards across five main categories: External Communication and Corporate Affairs, Internal Communication, Corporate and Business Journalism, and Special Awards. These categories will recognize achievements in areas such as crisis communication, online presence, sustainable practices, employer branding, and investigative business journalism, among others.
