Venus and Serena Williams to Play Doubles Together Again in Cincinnati

Tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams are set to reunite on the doubles court, marking their first partnership in four years. The iconic sisters have accepted a wild card invitation to compete in the women's doubles at the WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati, scheduled from August 13 to 23.

This reunion comes after their last doubles appearance together at the US Open in 2022, where they were eliminated in the first round. During their dominant era in the 2000s, the Williams sisters were a formidable force in women's doubles, achieving a Golden Grand Slam and accumulating 14 major titles, along with three Olympic gold medals.

In addition to their doubles comeback, Serena Williams, 44, has also received a wild card invitation for the singles tournament. This marks another step in her return to professional tennis after a nearly four-year absence. Venus Williams is 46 years old.

Individually, Serena boasts 23 Grand Slam singles titles, while Venus has won seven. Both sisters have previously held the WTA world number one ranking. This will be their debut appearance together at the Cincinnati tournament, adding another chapter to their storied careers.
