Veteran Taiwanese actor Liu De-kai, celebrated for his iconic portrayals of Fei Yunfan in "One Curtain of Tears" and Huang Taiji in "The Secret History of Empress Xiaozhuang," is reportedly living a quiet life in Kunming, Yunnan province, China. Sources indicate the 72-year-old actor has been a resident of the city for over two years.

Recent sightings show Liu De-kai, with his signature white hair, dressed in casual attire including a T-shirt and flip-flops, engaging in conversation with locals at a hotel. A photograph shared by a netizen in June 2024 captured him at the Spring City Lakefront Golf Hotel, enjoying drinks with friends. The netizen noted Liu's enduring good looks and strong capacity for alcohol at 71.
