Veteran artist Ling Feng returns to stage after surviving stroke

Veteran artist Ling Feng, 81, has made a triumphant return to the stage, appearing at a charity concert at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. The beloved performer, who had been living in Thailand and later Japan, suffered a second stroke and fell into a coma in December two years ago. Fortunately, he regained consciousness and returned to Taiwan for recovery and rehabilitation.

Ling Feng's appearance at the "Love Inheritance Charity Concert" showcased his familiar singing voice and humorous stage presence, as he paid tribute to the medical professionals who cared for him. He shared his profound appreciation for health, medical care, and companionship, emphasizing that health is never to be taken for granted.

The concert, organized by the Taiwan Quality of Life Association, featured a lineup of artists from different generations, including Fang Xin, Li Pei-ching, Shin Lung, and Chen Kai-lun. The event aimed to express gratitude to frontline medical workers for their dedication and to provide a moment of relaxation and encouragement for busy hospital staff, patients, and their families.
