The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has successfully intercepted a shipment of tramadol pills cleverly concealed within black soap containers, which were intended for illicit export to the United Kingdom. The agency announced the seizure as part of its ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking.

NDLEA operatives in Lagos uncovered the sophisticated concealment method during a routine interdiction operation. The discovery highlights the persistent ingenuity of drug smugglers attempting to bypass authorities.

Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy for the NDLEA, shared the details of the seizure on his X (formerly Twitter) account, reiterating a crucial warning to the public. He urged individuals to exercise extreme caution and avoid accepting any parcels or luggage from unknown sources or without verifying their contents.
