Former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was recently observed enjoying a relaxed visit to Guča, Serbia, during the renowned annual Trumpet Festival. Images and reports captured Orbán in a visibly good mood, strolling through the festival grounds with friends and without apparent security detail, engaging warmly with attendees.

During his visit, Orbán was seen participating in local customs, including drinking šljivovica, a traditional plum brandy. His presence at the festival, a vibrant celebration of Serbian brass music, highlighted a moment of apparent leisure away from his political duties. The images were shared by Hungarian investigative journalist Sabolcs Panyi and the Serbian news agency RINA.

Orbán was not alone during his visit. He was accompanied by Oskar Vilagi, a Slovakian-Hungarian billionaire and deputy CEO of the oil company MOL, who also holds a majority stake in the football club DAC 1904. The two have reportedly maintained a close relationship for years. Also present was architect Danijel Taracki, the lead designer for Hatvanpuszta, a large estate connected to the Orbán family that has faced political scrutiny. Taracki has been involved in publicly funded construction projects and recently faced disciplinary action from a professional chamber for ethical violations related to a heritage-protected building on the estate.

Despite the political controversies that have surrounded some of his associates, Orbán's time in Guča appeared to be a period of unburdened enjoyment. Videos circulating on social media showed him drinking the local brandy, and Hungarian media described his visit as a relaxed outing at the famous Serbian trumpet festival.
