Vietnam: 98-year-old Party member awarded 80-year Party medal

In Cà Mau province, 98-year-old Quách Kim Tuyến, a veteran Party member, was honored with the prestigious 80-year Party membership medal. The ceremony was attended by Đoàn Minh Huấn, a member of the Politburo and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, who presented the award.

Bà Tuyến, who previously served as a member of the City Party Committee and Deputy Head of the State Planning Committee in the former Bạc Liêu province, is currently affiliated with Party cell 18 in Ward 18, Bạc Liêu City Party Committee. The presentation of the medal serves as a significant recognition of her unwavering commitment to revolutionary ideals and her enduring contributions to the development of the Bạc Liêu-Cà Mau region.

He wished Bà Tuyến good health and longevity, encouraging her to remain a strong spiritual anchor for her descendants and the local youth.

Mr. Huấn also urged provincial Party committees and authorities in Cà Mau to continue their efforts in honoring and caring for revolutionary elders and veteran Party members. This includes providing practical support for their material and spiritual well-being, thereby leveraging the experience and prestige of past generations to educate younger generations on revolutionary traditions and ideals.
