Vietnam's VinSpace Partners with SpaceX for Satellite Launches

Vietnamese space company VinSpace has announced an agreement with SpaceX to launch its satellites into orbit. The partnership marks a significant step for Vietnam's burgeoning space industry.

Under the deal, SpaceX will conduct a joint launch mission in 2027, carrying VinSpace's satellites. The Vietnamese company will manage all aspects of the satellites, from research and development to production and operation in orbit. This collaboration will allow VinSpace's local engineering team to test domestically developed satellite modules under real orbital conditions.

Vu Thu, CEO of VinSpace, emphasized the strategic importance of the agreement. "The agreement with SpaceX is an important milestone in our long-term strategies for developing Vietnam's space ecosystem and strengthening the country's position in the global space economy," Vu stated. The partnership is expected to accelerate the development and testing of Vietnamese space technology.
