Vietnamese Influencers Charged for Offensive Livestreams

Authorities in Bắc Ninh province, Vietnam, have initiated criminal proceedings against three social media influencers for allegedly livestreaming offensive content and engaging in mutual insults to boost their online presence. Khánh Sky (Nguyễn Văn Hợi, 34), Hồ Văn Khoa (34), and Trần Đình Tiệp, known as "Vua Quạt" (King Fan), face charges related to public disorder and exploiting freedoms to harm state interests.

According to investigators, the trio repeatedly broadcast controversial livestreams filled with insults and offensive language, seeking to gain more views, interactions, and broader influence. The content, which spread widely, reportedly had a negative impact on public opinion and damaged the reputations of those involved, while also affecting online security.

The case escalated when Khánh Sky and Hồ Văn Khoa visited Trần Đình Tiệp's workshop in Tam Giang commune on July 29. During a 15-minute livestream, Khánh Sky allegedly used abusive language and threats, demanding to confront the workshop owner. Police are continuing their investigation to uncover all individuals connected to the distribution chain of this content and will prosecute them accordingly.

The investigators have carried out searches and seizures of goods suspected of using the ASICS brand without authorization. All evidence has been secured for further investigation.
