Vigorous selection done to appoint Environment Council

Papua New Guinea has finalized appointments for its 7th Environment Council, bringing together a diverse group of experienced individuals. The council features four returning members, alongside one newly appointed female member, collectively offering a wealth of expertise in environmental conservation. Jude Tukulia, Managing Director of the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA), highlighted that the selections were made based on the candidates' merits and prior experience. This careful selection process aims to ensure the council is well-equipped to address the nation's environmental challenges.
