Argentine Vice President Victoria Villarruel has directly responded to Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno's call for her resignation, reaffirming her commitment to her constitutional role. Quirno had accused Villarruel of seeking to destabilize the government following her public comments regarding President Javier Milei's "state" and "imaginary persecutions." Addressing reporters after attending a mass, Villarruel stated, "I do not destabilize anyone, nothing is further from me. When pressed by journalists about whether her comments alluded to the President's mental health, Villarruel declined to elaborate, stating, "No, I was not referring to that."
