Vilnius hosts The Bridge, bringing distinguished guests together

On September 3, diplomats, cultural and fashion figures, international ELLE editors, academics, and representatives of Vilnius and the business community gathered around one table in the Lithuanian capital.

They were united by a question that might seem less urgent during wartime: how to help young people continue creating. The Bridge, an international initiative, placed that question at the center of its discussion.

The event presented culture as more than a secondary concern in a time of war. It described culture as a matter of identity, dignity, and the chance to remain oneself even when war tries to take all of those things away.
