Vilnius to Establish Film Studio Infrastructure by 2030

Vilnius is set to develop a significant audiovisual content production infrastructure by 2030, according to an agreement to be signed on Monday. This initiative is expected to draw substantial investment into the Lithuanian capital, facilitate the production of international film and television projects, and generate high-value employment opportunities. The project also aims to open new avenues for Lithuanian businesses and specialists in the creative industries. The agreement will be formalized by Edvinas Grikšas, the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Valdas Benkunskas, the Mayor of Vilnius, Raminta Radavičienė, the Director General of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, and Romanas Matulis, the Director of the "Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster." The development signifies a strategic move to bolster the country's creative sector and enhance its global competitiveness in media production.
