Vincenzo Italiano comments on Semih Kılıçsoy's future at Beşiktaş

New Beşiktaş coach Vincenzo Italiano has addressed the situation of young talent Semih Kılıçsoy, who returned to the club after a loan spell at Cagliari.

Italiano, who signed a two-year contract with the Istanbul club, stated his familiarity with the player. "I know Semih, he is a good player. We even played against him when I was at Bologna," Italiano said during his introductory press conference. He acknowledged Kılıçsoy's strong performance in the first half of the previous season, though he expressed uncertainty about the player's subsequent form.

"I don't know why it continued like that afterwards. We will discuss this with the management," Italiano added. "We will talk with the management and make a decision and evaluate accordingly. But as I said, I know him and I think he is a good player."

The coach indicated that a decision regarding Kılıçsoy's future role at Beşiktaş will be made in consultation with the club's management, following a thorough evaluation.
