VinFast launches three new electric motorcycles in Indonesia, starting at Rp17.5 million with battery rental

Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has officially introduced three new electric motorcycle models in Indonesia: the VinFast Evo, Feliz II, and Viper. The launch event took place in Jakarta on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

These new models are available through a battery subscription scheme, offering consumers flexibility in ownership. Prices start at Rp17.5 million for the VinFast Evo on the road in Jakarta, with the Feliz II priced at Rp18.5 million and the Viper at Rp22 million, both also utilizing the battery subscription system.

Yordan Satriadi, CEO of VinFast Indonesia E-Motorcycle, stated that the introduction of these models is part of the company's strategy to boost electric vehicle adoption in Indonesia. He highlighted the significant potential of the electric two-wheeler market in the country, especially with the government's ambitious goal of having 13 million electric motorcycles by 2030.

Satriadi noted that Indonesian consumers are becoming more financially savvy, and the government's push for electric vehicles presents a prime opportunity for VinFast. The company is not only focusing on affordable initial pricing but also on providing ownership flexibility to meet diverse mobility needs.

Beyond competitive pricing, VinFast is offering substantial benefits, including a vehicle warranty of up to six years or 72,000 kilometers. During the launch period, customers will also receive one year of free battery swapping at VinFast's network of stations, with a limit of 20 swaps per month per motorcycle. This service aims to reduce ownership costs and provide peace of mind for daily use.
