VIP black widow: What is known about Eluney, the young woman detained over a drugging and robbery

A 21-year-old woman known on social media as Eluney was arrested in José C. Paz over an alleged robbery carried out after a man lost consciousness at his home in Pilar. Police say the investigation also led to the arrest of two alleged accomplices, while two other suspects remain fugitives.

The main suspect is Lourdes Milagros Rodríguez. Officers from the Pilar SubDDI of the Buenos Aires provincial police arrested her in the María Teresa de Calcuta neighbourhood. They seized six mobile phones, 11,700 pesos, $100, a perfume allegedly belonging to the victim, clothes, four glass dropper bottles and another person’s documents.

The investigation began with an incident on July 24. According to the case file, a 31-year-old man contacted Rodríguez through Instagram, where she used the name Eluney, and arranged to meet her at his home. After they shared drinks, he lost consciousness. When he woke, he discovered that cash, foreign currency, a PlayStation 4, an HP notebook, a Samsung S25 phone and his house keys were missing.

Security-camera analysis helped investigators reconstruct movements after the robbery and identify the vehicle allegedly used to escape. The footage also helped identify Rodríguez and one alleged accomplice, as well as an address linked to the investigation. Based on that evidence, Pilar’s UFI No. 2, with authorisation from Guarantee Court No. 7, approved the searches that led to her arrest.

The investigation then moved to Merlo after police found another address of interest by analysing the seized phone. During an urgent second search, they seized a phone and documents linked to a suspect. Nearby, police stopped a white Toyota Etios carrying a 29-year-old Venezuelan man and an 18-year-old Chilean man. The Venezuelan was detained, while the Chilean was arrested on suspicion of covering up the offence. Argentina’s National Migration Directorate also became involved because of his irregular immigration status.
