Vodafone Romania Secures 'Best in Test' Mobile Network Certification for Fifth Consecutive Year

Vodafone Romania has once again earned the "Best in Test" certification from umlaut for its mobile network, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has received this recognition. The independent comparative testing organization awarded Vodafone Romania the highest overall score, as well as top marks for voice services, data, and network reliability.

According to the 2026 evaluation, Vodafone Romania ranked first among mobile networks in the country. The measurements were conducted across 33 locations, covering 7,800 kilometers of national roads and highways, and encompassing approximately 24% of Romania's population.

"The fact that Vodafone Romania has obtained the umlaut 'Best in Test' certification for the fifth consecutive year shows the consistency with which we develop our infrastructure and service quality, so that people, companies, and communities can stay connected simply, quickly, and safely."

The certification is based on a performance audit conducted by umlaut between May 6 and May 30, 2026. The methodology evaluates network quality as experienced by users, combining dedicated measurements with real-world usage data. Vodafone Romania is a leading telecommunications company in Europe and Africa, serving approximately 370 million mobile and broadband customers across 17 countries.
