Vučić argues with elderly woman over alleged unreceived aid

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić became embroiled in a public argument with an elderly woman in Prokuplje after she approached him with a request for help for another resident, Miljana. The woman insisted that Miljana had not received the assistance she needed, directly contradicting Vučić's assertion that he had personally given her money in his office.

The woman suggested that Vučić's associates might be misleading him, but stated she was willing to take a polygraph test to prove her claim.

In response to her persistence and the suggestion of a polygraph, Vučić questioned her demeanor, asking, "Where did you learn to act like that?" He reiterated his claim that he had given the woman money and that she had been in his office. The president also accused Miljana of taking the money and then falsely claiming she had not received it.

Vučić concluded by inviting the woman to his office on Wednesday, stating he would provide the money then, as he would be traveling until Tuesday. The exchange was captured on video and circulated online, drawing public attention to the interaction.
