Wanpy unveils functional creamy treats for cats at IIPE 2026

Wanpy Indonesia has introduced a cat treat designed to be more than a snack. The company launched Wanpy Functional Creamy Treat during the Indonesia International Pet Expo, held from September 4 to 6, 2026, at ICE BSD City.

The new line comes in four varieties: Urinary Care with duck and chicken, Skin & Coat with tuna and salmon, Digestive Health with salmon and chicken, and Hairball Control with codfish and chicken. Wanpy presents the products as combining palatability with targeted functional ingredients.

David Hadiputra, CEO of PT Link Two Link Indonesia, said Indonesian pet owners increasingly view treats as part of a pet’s daily care rather than simply a reward. “We see Indonesian pet owners increasingly understand that treats are not only about taste or reward, but can also become part of a more purposeful daily routine for pets,” he said.

Veterinarian Cellin Rubianti said functional treats appeal because they are practical to give and contain ingredients intended to support specific functions. She also stressed that such products should remain part of a balanced nutritional plan and should not replace medical examinations or treatment.
