Warm spell expected: Temperatures to rise to 27 degrees Celsius

Lithuania is set to experience a substantial warm-up, with temperatures expected to climb as high as 27 degrees Celsius in the coming days. This shift promises a significant change from recent weather patterns.

Thursday night is forecast to be clear and relatively mild, with temperatures remaining between 9 and 14 degrees Celsius. A change is anticipated on Thursday during the day as an atmospheric front approaches from the southwest. This will lead to denser cloud cover across the country.

Rain is expected to arrive only in the western regions of Lithuania during the latter half of Thursday. A moderate southeasterly wind will persist. Due to the increasing cloudiness, daytime temperatures on Thursday will be cooler than initially expected, reaching between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. The Curonian Spit will experience the coolest temperatures, while the northern parts of the country will be the warmest.
